Solo 1840 Master Nightfall Heist Battleground Mars [Destiny 2]

Destiny 2 Lightfall – Solo Master Nightfall Heist Battleground Mars / How To Solo Master Nightfall Heist Battleground Mars Easy Guide / 1840 Solo Nightfall Heist Battleground Mars. Just a quick video showing a solo clear of the Master Nightfall with all champions defeated. This also completes the rank 8 guardian games triumph for the legend nightfall completion.

As always, perma-invis Hunter making Nightfalls easier! This was something I tested on Tuesday on the hero version – seeing what spots would work on the boss fight and how to approach the beginning encounters. It was similar to how I did the legend battleground last season for the start section, but the boss fight I approached differently to make it a little less painfully slow. The exotic mission came out after that though, so all of that got moved to today.

With this setup, difficulty-wise it’s not too bad. This is basically Grandmaster level (-22 handicap vs -25 handicap), so nothing will really change there. Not “flawless” as I had one wipe because I fell through a gap in the map before opening the boss room door, so I just left that in because it wasn’t to the combat encounters and just something to laugh at. The boss fight cheese spot is nice to speed things up, but ultimately it wouldn’t really be needed on an invis Hunter if they decide to patch it. You can just take pot shots between invis and rotating between the pillars like I did for the arc charges, but this way speeds it up a little bit.

As for enjoyment of this and the difficulty of the nightfall as a whole, I don’t think it’s great. Permanently respawning enemies don’t make for a fun nightfall, especially when you have to keep them away from objectives to make it work. They don’t change the difficulty all that much, as shown here, but the only thing that changes is that it’s tedious to complete. Without invis this would probably be a nightmare, particularly on the final phase of the boss and the first door you open. But with invis it’s easily doable.

Either way, this was requested a lot since reset, so here it is. This was the second attempt, as the first attempt I pushed a little close on the second capture zone at the beginning and enemies spawned behind me.

  1. I'm really glad that we're actually getting some properly hard activities in D2 again. At first I was against the idea of nightfall battlegrounds, but this week has really sold the idea to me and I can't wait to see more

  2. How long is this map gonna be in the nightfall spotlight? Just started destiny 2 a couple weeks ago and was loving the last two rotations but this one is complete fucking aids. The randoms I get squaded up with always rage quit at the pillars section. They typically fight and stick it through once we get to the mid and boss room but they always quit at pillars. I did find that the electric bow with the catalyst is a beast at clearing most everything here for the aoe damage. Thanks for the video!

  3. i know you’ve just done the day 1 so might be having a break, just wondered if you have been thinking about giving it a go on other subclasses or if that’s viable atm with how it’s set up? some good watching yesterday on raid btw

  4. Why do I not have the patience to do this myself…. Yet can sit here and watch you do it, all the way through, and enjoy the impressive performance?

Incredible stuff my guy! Well played!

  5. Ah, the memories of early week Heists, when everything felt like it hit like a truck, didn't die, and the cloisters required some teamwork to kill quickly. So few "no respawn" zones here, it's kinda clear they just… tossed it in the list and called it a day. If Battlegrounds are going to be part of nightfalls, Bungie is going to have to give them a bit of careful attention. It's nice to get more variety in the Vanguard playlist, though, so I'm glad they're included in that rotation.

  6. i've watched your other videos before so I know that you're a damn good gamer. But my god, this style of play is so damn boring!! I would much rather have sone fun and die a few times than get a boring a** game like this to get a flawless victory!!! sorry i don't mean to be rude- its just my opinion (you can throw my opinion in the trashcan) but I felt the need to say it!

  7. the main problem is this was never originally designed to be a strike. it was grindy seasonal fodder, intended to be repetitive with superfluous ads to blow through bounties.
    in a word: DOGSHIT

  8. Just the basic one took me over 1h to complete it with 2 friends the boss room was dam near impossible thanks to the wizard spawning MELTING your health away. And the second encounter with the hack ghost is pure pain has you not only have to watch all your side but also have to not die.
