My 1,918th kite video. Many of the items we fly these days are “line laundry”, needing to be hung on the line of a lifter kite in order to take to the air. Some soft kites are real fliers, however, and need no help. Both types add to a display and help brighten up the sky.
Anyone wanting to check out all my “How to…” videos on various aspects of kite-flying can now find them all easily on my Playlist at https://www.youtube.com/c/JimsKitesNZ/playlists .

Awesome display today Jim. Ron
Great display Jim. Good to see big Smile again.
Smiley is my favourite 😀
If you watch some of the large kite festivals it soon becomes apparent that the majority of kites flown are of the soft design type, and for obvious reasons. I still enjoy my sparred kites like those in you recent delta video.
Very very nice 🙂
Great video wee need more smiley kites. Thanks for sharing
a nice day of weather en kites. i like the dogkite. thanks Jim
Het blijft mooi die vliegers die zelf kunnen vliegen,en die geen hulp nodig hebben van lifters. Al zijn daar ook mooie ontwerpen bij.
I didn't realize until now how hard to it is to comprehend how massive these kites actually are! I love seeing em, thank you jim:))!
Very cool kites. I like the ones that can fly on their own. I did have a beautiful black octopus kite until it wrapped around a tree and I wasn't able to get it down. I have a mini trilobite and it flies great. Thanks for sharing!
I wished I lived closer to you. So I could take photos of all of your good looking kites.
Nice video Jim. A beautiful day indeed. Looked prefect. Thanks Jim!
Thanks for sharing another perfect kite flying day…
It's a cute kite. The dog is so pretty. And the cute kites are so interesting. The kite is really big.👍👍38
One of our members in the Wisconsin Kiters has that big smiley. I am surprised at how good it flies.
