I'd recommend checking out maps like Tuvong by Logical Edits, from what I hear, it's an amazing custom map. Leviathan as well. Maybe Damned of the Moor 3. Der Bunker, Overload. There are a lot of great maps out there
For help with these maps, I'd recommend you check out Kunjora, he does videos on BO3 custom zombies maps, streams them and has a lot of recommendations for maps and a few mods to check out

One strat my friend used was to use the Kermit's Shredda to get the boss to a pretty low health then used his packed weapons to finish him off

When playing custom maps if you don't want to wait through the entire loading screen and then relaunch the map. Press ` to open console commands and type /map_restart It will save you so much time.
