Where do you stand on Genie+? Especially with the new price increases?

Fun Fact; Disney is a multibillion dollar company. They never cared about you or anyone, they only gave you free stuff to make you come back, they don’t “owe” you anything because they never had to give you something in the first place. It was an illusion of the Disney Difference
The Magic is for sure still at DLR but it has disappeared at WDW 😢
Its interesting to see kamaila's attitude about the price hikes change over time. She seemed to me to be the least bothered by past increases but it looks like its finally closing in on her personal price ceiling and affecting her business.
The one thing I'll add is that if you're staying at one of the more expensive by room cost hotels at Universal the Express pass is included in your stay. If you have 3-4 people you can save money just by staying at one of those hotels if you want express vs dockside/surfside.
Sorry, Patrick, ❤️ Illuminations from its inception & throughout its tenure. My favorite fireworks show (for all 4 parks) to end my WDW night! Tears @ the heartstrings every time.
I prefer it to MK's fireworks shows with the tacky overlays on the castle.
Oh, I forgot about a conversation I had with my BIL this weekend. He's a huge Disney fan and they have a 5 year old. He said they went to volcano Bay & stayed at Dockside the weekend before. He said he loved the hotel & it was so much nicer that he'd rather stay there than at Disney anymore. Even with having to take an uber between the two places…

Sadly I agree with Patrick. Was there two weekends ago and trash bins in some places overflowing. Never ever before has it even that bad. And people leaving crap everywhere. Drink cups and trash just left on benches. Also, what game Show was Patrick on? Great show. Love the honesty.
We stopped supporting the parks when they got rid of the dining plan.
If I want roller coasters I’ll go to 6flags
If I want theming I’ll go to universal

Rob needs a button for the real time flame border effect they have on Around the Horn.
Back I the 80’s Disney allowed to to book hotels 5 years in advance while you were on vacation and pay the current price. I booked GF 5 years before competition and stayed concierge level for $200 a night. Even the front desk couldn’t believe the deal I got! Sadly those days along with tickets that don’t expire.
Park Center is my favorite WDWNT show. It may be my favorite Disney show on youtube. The panel is always solid, unbiased, informed, and are clearly having fun. And Rob is such a great host. His sense of humor and the way he leads the discussion is so perfect. I never miss an episode, and am really bummed when a week goes by without one.
HOWEVER, IMO the mic levels (especially on last week's show) are all over the place and really hold back the experience in a lot of ways. I turn the volume up to hear one person, then wake the neighbors when it goes back to a person with normal mic levels. Was going to say something last week but always feel bad to criticize such swell folks. BUT this week is SO MUCH better, and it made it feel better that I could say "this is great." So… more of this please?
For real though, love Park Center and Rob and every person they have on here. Thanks for making such a great show every week.

In addition to the general greed of “more money always,” I wonder if part of the idea of raising every price is to price out the lower-income folks who go (who admittedly aren’t “low income,” just the lowest that go to Disney) under the belief that behavior at the parks is rising and it’s generally feeling like a lower quality experience. I will say that if it is, they’re likely wrong- I think that the more you pay, the more you expect to get to do whatever you want. So we’ll see more things like trash being dumped everywhere, CM abuse, park fights, because people will be pressured to try and do EVERYTHING more than they already were and be even more emotionally unstable when they aren’t meeting what they think they should be getting for their money.

Fantastic show! Camila is a superb travel agent and it’s good to hear her perspectives on the booking process and other things I wouldn’t naturally consider. The whole group is fantastic and I hope to see them again. Funny, insightful and energetic🎉. Thank you!
I have similar feelings as Patrick on Illuminations. “We Go On” was great, as were other parts in the first half of the show. But a good chunk in the middle that included the images on the globe was dull and needed updating. However, Harmonious was not the answer. It’s technically impressive, but it has little heart. If you have to look around to see if it’s over, something went horribly wrong. I would have liked to see a major overhaul of Illuminations. Fingers crossed for whatever they come up with next.
Good show. Bob "Paychek" has damaged the brand. Become a shareholder…vote him and the board out. The ugly contraption created for the World Showcase show…melt it. Make some garbage cans with them. For the last 30 years I have looked forward to staying on property but sadly for me…not anymore.😕
are we sure Disney corporate hasn't been completely taken over by Disney villains? Greed knows no bounds- not even to a company that's supposed to be about kids and families.
I guess they DO still cater to families…but just the super rich ones
