  1. Character designs in the first fight scene reminds me of Lu Bu and Zhuge Liang from dynasty warriors ngl. Amazing game up to yet though. Can’t fault anything I’ve played.

  2. When Sun Wukong wreaked havoc in Heaven, none of the hundred thousand heavenly soldiers and generals could stop him, including Nezha and the three-eyed deity Yang Jian. In the end, it was the Buddha, Tathagata, who subdued him with the Five Elements Mountain

  3. To understand the story of Journey To The West, you first need to read another Chinese novel named The Investiture of the Gods which is the story from how the universe comes to exist all the way to how the heaven in the Journey To The West is formed. And the story of Journey To The West is actually about the heaven has a serious bad debt. So they select a monke and indirectly guide it to destroy everything related to the debt, then seal the monke away. Debt disappear, happy end XD. Later monke finally understand what happened and obeys heaven, then he goes to the west to get his retirement, lol. Along the way, monke find some 'lost' pet of his boss and bring them home, :P.

  4. In Chinese culture, Sun Wukong represents the indomitable spirit of resisting injustice and oppression. For thousands of years, his spirit inspired the Chinese people to resist the brutal feudal ruling class. If we want to choose a person who can best represent the spirit of Chinese culture, then he is definitely the first in the popular vote.

  5. People commenting on how Sun Wukong sounds dubbed, while having absolutly no idea HOW he was supposed to have sounded. Spoiler, he sounded very similar to that, he was a rebellious monkey ffs. Learn a thing or two before making ignorant comments.

  6. If you have a detailed understanding of Chinese culture and mythological stories, then I think this game can achieve 9/10 or 9.5/10. If you don't understand it and don't want to learn about it, then the game may be just like Ign's rating of 8/10. Regardless, at least it will never disappoint you

  7. The moral of the anime cutscene is all about the evils of virtue signaling. The monk was greedy and valued his status the most and the various shrouds he collected symbolized his achievements and virtue to the world. He can fool the world but he can't fool himself and ultimately his greed for status symbols destroys him. The Goddess said what she said in a mocking tone.
