Gen 6 was my meta for real, I loved playing everything in that. It's so nostalgic, it's when I got into competitive pokemon, its when I started watching Shofu/Joey/Shady/Cybertron/etc. Brings back so many memories.

Gen 6 is so underrated for battling. Making a meta game off broken Megas and new mechanics was so much fun. Definitely my favorite gimmick
watching this live takes me back! i’ve watched your content since gen 5, but your gen 6 content has always been the most memorable to me. one moment i remember really well is a live where you used a body slam spam team with mega pinsir (i think it was a heatah fajita?). the video’s been archived now, but i would kill to watch that live again! i also think that a throwback gen 6 live with old heatah fajita teams with blunder/ctc/cbb would be hella fun as well

Stall is stupid now, with dondozo beating up every physically offensive set up mon, blissey checking all special mons, toxapex using haze and regenerator , ting lu for the electric types to counter tox and alomamola the wish passer and whirlpool locker, salt cure, block garg is the most only thing i see beating stall nowadays. Cause they have answers for just about everything
Gen 6 in general gets flak for being easier and simpler but that's kinda why I love Gen 6 so much. It was a really easy generation to learn and get into and you could still get great competitive games out of it.
Gen 6 is such a sleeper metagame. Even I gloss over it when I think of old gens just because it lacks the personal nostalgia. But everytime I hop on the ladder, it’s a blast. Love the old gen content, keep it up
I spent hours just sitting in gen 6 random battles and making awful pu teams. It was so fun.

ORAS is my home. It's the first time I ever actually played competitive, and I actually got Top 100 right at the very end of the generation. I love this gen of competitive Pokemon so much.
OSRS was my favorite meta by a fair bit. Then Gen 5, then 7, then 8, 9 WAY behind 8.
Shady stopped posting mons for so long. He came back, but it was too late and i outgrew him.

This is the gen I first started watching you in back when I was a freshman in high school, and the first competitive scene I was super interested in. I still have ten year old teams I emailed to myself, somewhere in the depths of my gmail. It feels surreal for this to be considered classic, but it's been a decade!

Gen 6 has to be my favorite meta game. It was my favorite of all the gimmicks since it still felt like regular battles with stronger mon. Although, the gale wings nerf was desperately needed hahaha. Great times, this is what got me into competitive Pokemon and this when I started watching Joey's videos. Would love to see a mega generation again.
