Sneaking Into Abandoned Quarries in Somerset

In November 2022 I visited Asham Wood in the Mendips to explore two disused quarries that were closed in the mid-1980s (Asham Quarry and Westdown Quarry) as well as some of the ancient semi-natural woodland and currently operational Torr Works quarry, which is one of Britain’s largest quarries.

  2. The mystery concrete structure at 4:09, that's where they put unsuspecting runners who "deviate from the bridleway" 😁 didn't you hear the screams?!??!? Thank you for sharing more magical moments in these amazing places, Craig
