I actually worked on that same year truck and had a similar issue I ended sup buying a deep crows foot and didn't work so I had to take a old socket cut it apart and weld onto the bottom of my crows foot to make it a little deeper and that extra 6mm of depth welded onto it did the truck. You could just remove the head and make it easier but then your doing more work for for same pay of

  2. Necessity is the Mother of Invention. A buddy of mine would custom fab unique tools like that all the time. He never threw anything away because there just might be a use for it. M

  3. FWIW, as far as I can tell on the website, snap on doesn't make metric sockets of that style, aside from 13mm. Tekton does have a 6pt option similarly shaped, and Schley has spline sockets with a similar design, although both are crowfeet.
