If you can’t find the right tool in this garage “Mr. Arizona” you don’t belong near a car
I just seen that video on FB . That's exactly what came to my mind.
Ive worked on these before and its a little tight but i can confirm it works
I actually worked on that same year truck and had a similar issue I ended sup buying a deep crows foot and didn't work so I had to take a old socket cut it apart and weld onto the bottom of my crows foot to make it a little deeper and that extra 6mm of depth welded onto it did the truck. You could just remove the head and make it easier but then your doing more work for for same pay of
Homer, you ruined a perfectly good tool!
Correction, Marge…TWO perfectly good tools!
Just have to buy All the Tools lol
Necessity is the Mother of Invention. A buddy of mine would custom fab unique tools like that all the time. He never threw anything away because there just might be a use for it. M
FWIW, as far as I can tell on the website, snap on doesn't make metric sockets of that style, aside from 13mm. Tekton does have a 6pt option similarly shaped, and Schley has spline sockets with a similar design, although both are crowfeet.
Good find
Oh my stars!?!?! Are you saying he coudlve waited all week for the snap on truck to come snd then another week or two for his order to come in?!?!?
Just keep in the back of your mind there is literally a tool for everything!!!! Do your research and ya won’t haft to make custom tools
They make a drive adapter with a 6 point hex head
