  1. fiering someone becaus "woman are useless"? that going to be expensive. i see why op did not sue there. defenitly looks like the CEO would have had "owner" fierd on the spot etc. its clear that he was fully aware of what would happend if a lawsuit happend afther that. realy good for the company that op realy liked to work there.

  6. I don't know if the entitled son / would be land owner story is the same as one I've already heard but given the number of Karens and Kevins in the world I'd not be surprised if this situation has happened to more than one person / car restorers.

    I have lived in a couple of cities, a few towns, and a small number of villages. The current place is one of the strangest for parking. I was warned before I moved in but it's even crazier than the warning. People have parked in the small car park and on the short street in the same places for decades and it all "becomes" assigned parking in the minds of some spaces. So cue Christmas and people having visitors. A couple of spaces get filled by other cars, Knock on effect, then more knock on effects from those knock on effects. And now minor civil war ensues.

  8. I stopped at 37 seconds. I too am an Information Security/CyberSecurity professional… and I know that what this lady claimed is bullshit. She stated she was β€œthe only one qualified,” to do a thing because of access control and confidentiality.
    False, access control does not provide you a qualification or make you know anything about CyberSecurity.
    The person telling the story may have had a qualification but confusing access control and confidentiality for a qualification… That doesn’t lead me to believe this person knows anything more about CyberSecurity than someone who has watched a fifteen minute YouTube video on the subject.
    I don’t doubt an asshole made this woman feel uncomfortable, sadly that’s all too common, but that doesn’t make her qualified to do CyberSecurity either.
    Most managers I’ve encountered can cite a couple concepts but have no idea how to apply them. This is why they are managers. They push papers, open multi participant calls and over promise and under deliver.

  14. Pizza: I've had a few mis-delivered and not-what-I-ordered pizzas that I was allowed to keep while they brought me what I had actually paid for. Never occurred to me to try something like that. Also, the pizzas never go to waste. My roommate will eat practically anything, so mis-delivered pizzas I won't eat go to him. He loves it.

  16. I also was subsctibe a walker and also in my 30's, man and constantly got the but you are a man and you are young so it can not be disabled.

    Also just attacking (liderally hiting/grabing or robing) will garantee minimum of 2 years in prison in my country.

  17. Yes, IT people can be known for being socially awkward, but that doesn't mean they don't know whats right and wrong, or are ignorant of excellent management. Their expertise, after all, centers around making systems run smoothly, and work department structure systems are merely a different type. They can easily tell what works and what does not.

  28. Last story was infuriating, they got away with everything including depriving a mom of 3 her transportation but it's all good now right? She would never know another peaceful day if I lived next door and witnessed that.
