  1. Hi, I’m the bloke who used to work for the company that repaired coach DG units, JW Glass, now at PSV Glass. We used a jewellers rouge to polish those marks out of the glass, it used to work pretty well. A polishing head attached to an angle grinder was a massive help but with your glass still being in the vehicle, it might be safer to do manually. Good luck πŸ‘πŸ€ž

  3. at the start, get some big strips of gaffa tape folded into a T shape. stick these to the windows so the lower leg acts as handles. then tape over window with masking. The gaffer tape will then act as pull handles.

  4. Well that was all mildly terrifying! I wish you had worn gloves too. This is an amazing project to watch – it does make car restorers look like small fry though lol – what a challenge. Love it! πŸ‘

  5. Hi mate I’ve worked for a bus and coach dealership for the last 30 years, best way to clean your glass is to use fine grade wire wool and window cleaner. The fine grade wire wool is abrasive enough to get rid of any marks, but it doesn’t scratch the glass. Give it a try and see what you think.

  6. Should of masked it all off and made a few handles/ pull points out of tape to pull most out
Edit : and maybe of used gaffer tape as more drip
Second edit : use gloves ffs and those glasses aren’t enough

  7. As its laminated glass why not sheet metal over the outside and bubble wrap or radiator foil the inside for insulation then cover with 3mm ply inside or whatever, job done no mess or broken glass to deal with
