the diary pages you are finding are Atlantean text pages, i noticed when you clicked one @31:43 it showed you writing telling you what it said but you exited it so fast you never noticed. the text from the page said "I always consult Merlin when making important decisions. After all a qizard is… often tells me to trust my own judgement, which I suppose is very good advice indeed."
The game looks fun, feels a little bit like Kingdom Hearts without combat.
just a few NON-SPOILER hints and tips for you Z, If you stay on the memory that has the Old Rulers Diary page (what you keep getting disappointed at), a caption will appear telling you what the page says — when you have a quest that requires you to change clothes or build something for someone, click on the Character Icon on the clothing/furniture tabs to avoid searching for the items — Crafting Benches will pull from all chests anywhere in the world — do not forget to use the Collections tab in the Menu to see where Flowers/crops/useful items are located in the world, the Collections Tab can also tell you how long Crops take to grow — the number next to the icon in the recipe page and also in storage/inventory is how many YOU have —

You probably already went and did Remy, so you found out that your inventory should be empty except for a stack of something to eat. The diary pages get translated if you wait 2 seconds before clicking on them. ALWAYS have a companion following you. They get experience and friendship no matter what task you are doing. They just get MORE from the one they are designated for.
