As luck (or planning) would have it, I ended up parking right next to the railroad tracks and when I saw the signal flashing, I knew something should be along momentarily. I wasn’t disappointed because moments later this 6-car train came rolling down the tracks. At a bit of distance, I thought it must be a kid with a bike horn, but no, that’s the train horn.
This train is being pulled by locomotives NS 3048 and 5354. 3048 is new to me but I’ve spotted NS 5354 twice before, both times in the Durham yard in August of 2022 (https://youtu.be/q4RpQTRArco & https://youtu.be/QD6dFzm0I9s).
