  1. Be careful out there Amanda. Coyotes can kill, especially in packs, although not often, just be aware. (I looked it up on Google) They are in dessert places. Wishing you and Frank the best. Lots of love to both of you❤

  2. That was a lovely way to spend a few days, and to spend 23 minutes 🙂 What a great place to explore and hang out!

I’m the same with food when I haven’t had enough sleep. It’s taken me years to realize that more food will not solve that feeling of low energy! Only sleep can do that.

  3. Frank's paws look so well cared for in that closing shot of him sleeping peacefully. I wish I could go to sleep as easily as dogs do. Thanks for showing us the beauty of the golden lit rock cliffs and the teddy bear cholla all illuminated by the setting sun. My gosh, the colors in your favorite sunset were just incredible. Like a rich, vibrant parfait of colors. Hope your lips and your finger heal quickly!

  4. Amanda, thanks for sharing the Sonoran desert with us!! We spent two winters there during our van life season and I miss it so much now that we are semi-permanent in northeast Utah. It's gorgeous here, too, but in a different way!! Thanks again!! ❤

  5. We've traveled to these places… a few years ago (currently in Irvine, CA), and the Sonoran Desert is by far my favorite (it's green!). 🙂 Beautiful images! Did you see/hear any bats, owls..? The smallest owls on earth are in the Sonoran desert: the pygmy owl (6 inches) & the elf owl (4.9 to 5.7 inches), they nest/live in old woodpecker holes. I've only ever seen them on a BBC documentary… 😊

  6. You beautifully captured the desert scenery! The vistas of SW Arizona is one of the few things that keeps me based here. Funny, you mentioned the faces in the rocks… I often see faces in the shadows at sunset along the mountains and rocks around here. So glad you're enjoying your time in the Sonoran and that precious Frankie gets to soak up all the sun! 😊
