First?
Hey Jake – Love the vids! Slay the Spire is a hell of a game. Where's the EU4 content though? Miss that good stuff. Anyways, keep on keeping on. Keen to hear your thoughts on Paradox and the recent 'tennis ball incident'. Peace!
Goddamit Jake you made me buy a bloody deck card game of all things
Congrats on the A20, didn't think you'd manage with that horrible card draw on the heart but you pulled through, well done!
Often playing a Hemokinesis before the whirlwind is better always…
whirlwind = 1 energy is 8 dmg….
hemokinesis = 1 energy is 17(?)dmg… plus it lowers your blood card by 1 for 20dmg.
Monster Train time.
Hey jake! I Loved the video. I have amazing news! I have a recommendation for you that it might just replicate the thrill that is Frostpunk. It’s called the Last Train Home. It’s about the Czechoslovak legion stuck in the russian civil war. They must cross Siberia to make it back to their homeland. I can’t say much else otherwise I will spoil the game for you. I hope that you have an amazing day!
I feel like going for the snecko when you only had two cards that cost 2+ was just asking the robot to die, but as you say "live by the snecko, die by the snecko"
Jake, there's a flaw with your reasoning. You have to assume you will at some point get certain relics and certain card combinations, and build towards it in any ways you can. The game is not fair and will not always guarantee you a victory, even if you make no mistakes. You can beat it only if certain random variables align, so it's a good idea to build towards it, and just accept a failed run if it doesn't happen.
Nicely done jake, I’m surprised how much I enjoyed watching these vods, excellent game hope to see more someday!
Congrats this is an achievement and a half , I love this game and one of the few I have sunk big hours into. Never achieved A20 though
