Yeah so this video is a bit too speculative for my liking but it’s still an interesting story to tell. Last few times this happened with a subject, where I just cant find more and still want to tell you about it so speculate a bit, you guys did not seem to mind. Still. Sorry if you do, next video has much more solid lore so stick around for that 🙂

I was just writing some stuff on the gehenoth for my Skyrim rewrite server and I see this video. Pretty cool.
Oh heck yeah! Forgot all about this creature!
My theory is it's a kamal
If anyone has a picture or video of the cutout from 2003 please post it somewhere 🥲
Wow. Too bad they aren’t in the game.
I was looking for something to watch. I never heard of this creature.
I mean for a sprite it looks really good!
I remember running a Gehenoth encounter in a UESRPG session for a few friends last year. It's an interesting creature.
They should start making TES Travels and Adventures games again. It really sucks having to wait 10+ years without an Elder Scrolls game, and I think all of us would be happy with a third person adventure game than nothing, as long as it was good enough to hold up with the rest of the series. A morag tong stealth game from Arkane would be really badass too
Ohhh yes! I always love when you make videos about forgotten pieces of lore from the older games (forgotten by Bethesda, I mean. The community always remeber!)
If the Gehenoth was kept for Skyrim I could imagine it being similar to Deathclaws in the Fallout games.
Hist sap….. it might be an argonian….
While it isn't likely that the Gehenoth are surviving Kamal from the 2nd era, you could argue that the frost-people are in fact Kamal that have come back from Akavir. The Gehenoth are simply their battle-beasts.
This would reframe the events of Shadowkey as the hero preventing the latest Akaviri invasion before it could even start.
it reminds me of some species of dreugh from Atmora maybe?
(it looks like it has a shell on its back)
There are so many things Bethesda could of added to Skyrim if they create the awful civil war questline.
It’s a shame they didn’t use them in Tes 5 and eso
You know I just realized they sort of look like lurkers from the Dragonborn dlc
Any mods with this out there?
Why is it that the Elder Scrolls deep lore is so amazing and interesting and keeps getting cut from major releases?
It looks like a sea creature. Perhaps it's from underwater?
I thought this video was years old but it came out today lmao.
"bethesda forgot" thats pretty much their writing team in a nutshell
Maybe the sorcerer never made females of these creatures so they eventually died out. 🙂
Maybe the ice tribe are an invading force from atmora their skins turned blue because of the extreme weather and they brought the gahenath with them to keep the people of Skyrim in check
I like the theory that the ice tribe are the kamal and the gehenoths are their battle beasts. The troll theory doesn't make much sense to me since gehenoths are very aquatic looking as opposed to troll looking
