  1. Grandma Shirley: providing replay value for Skyrim for the past 15 years! 😂
This is what I thought when I saw the opening scene! Even if you've been everywhere in Skyrim it looks different from different angles! 😍🏞️🏔️
I'm starting to wonder Grandma, if you like skulls as much as dead trees? I laughed when you were so excited to see inside Koldus' skull 😂

  2. Hi Grandma, can the husky dog at the end of the video be a companion? I really liked that dog, but he just seemed to appear from nowehere! I find the wizards college a bit annoying because the teachers seem conceited and pompous and the quests too long and share your frustration! However the student J'zargo is very funny. I think the Khajits are by far the best characters. I love the detailed and beautiful scenery in the game and how fast the weather changes sometimes, the snow looks realistic. Excellent commentary as always. Thanks for the video I enjoyed watching it!

  3. Grandma, another tip: if you need to cast a spell you can press TAB in your keyboard, near the ESC key, and then you will be looking at the caracter's menu. The Character Menu has a compass with up, down, left, and right directions. The left direction leads to magic, the right direction leads to items (but we usually just press "i" to open it), the up direction leads to skills, and the down direction leads to the map (wich we just press "M"). So at the character menu, go left by pressing "a" in your keyboard (as if you were walking left) and this is the magic menu! There are icons for destruction magic, to healing magic, alteration, ilusion, etc. Try it and let me know if it helps you find a spell to cast!
The thing is: the magic spells are not in the inventory menu, but in this magic spells menu I just told you how to access. Much love from Brazil❤🇧🇷

  4. Love the standing deaths, where they remain upright. I did one fully armoured guy, made me think of the mythical/historic figure Benkei, since he died on a bridge, just propped up right. Not as many arrows, but still.

  5. I always do the first College quest in every playthrough just so I can get access to the spells they sell. Farengar and the other court wizards don't sell the more powerful spells, which forces me to go to the College. Using the "wait" feature is super useful to get Mirabelle to hurry the heck up during the tour! I think there's only one or two more times where you have to use magic to solve some puzzles, but they don't make it entirely obvious that that's the solution. Hopefully Katamyrr can just hack and slash his way through the rest of the questline once her passes those hurdles!

  6. that ending was all of the sudden GMA.
something I thought was funny that the dragon was destroying the village but Kat was to busy looking up someone skull…

BTW, I love how the dog automatically followed you.

would love to to see the end of this mage school.. i always gave up at the very start… the adventures of Toldfir ( spelling) is boring…he moves to slow LOL

  7. Hi Grandma, I’m enjoying the new character. Maybe you’ll finish the Winterhold College quest line this time! Have you ever completed it without recording? I assume not, but thought I’d ask.

What’s your favorite track from the Skyrim soundtrack? I know you like to take in the scenery – sometimes the music just makes the entire scene so magical and serene. 🙂

  8. Hey grandma! I just wanted to say, you are so calming to watch! After a long day of work watching your videos make me happy. I feel like you are an excellent story teller. And your videos are truly beautiful.

  9. Hello, Grandma. I really enjoyed this video. The College of Winterhold is one of my favorite main quest lines. It is so fun, in my opinion. I may be biased, though, asI loved it as a kid. It's always felt more detailed than the others.

I look forward to seeing you play through the rest of the quest line!

Also, I understand the frustration of waiting for the teacher to unlock Saarthal. One time, I felt like I waited forever, and he just never seemed to show up. So I went and did other quests and forgot about it for a while, haha.

  10. I remember when I first went to saarthal… it was probably the second dungeon I went through in the game (after bleakfalls barrow, so I was a very low level) and having been chased there by a bunch of ice wraiths I remember the fear of how difficult I was going to find this dungeon.

  11. Aw, College of Winterhold – cool stuff going on there! People are unusually nice and the questline is pretty nice too, especially that deadric stuff crafting. Never had J'zargo as a follower, quess it could be fun, looking forward to see it.

  12. Good morning Shirley! That was a gorgeous picture to start with. I like how the road that goes turning left and right down to the river 🦀 I'm also glad to see Katamyrr joining the college. I hope he'll learn some tricks to humble J'zargo a bit!😂 I also think that the stray dog that started following him is pretty cute 🐶 Have a wonderful day ☀️

  13. Hi Grandma! Awesome job taking down that dragon, it was pretty funny how awkwardly he landed half in the building! Also I have to agree with you, waiting on the NPC's to walk anywhere is so slow it's painful!!

I haven't done the College of Winterhold quest in YEARS, I think I know where I'll be going in Skyrim tonight 🙂

  14. I feel like I have the same problem as Shirley does. The audio on this game is super low. Has it always been like that? Believe it or not I'm new to this game despite how long it's been around (thanks Shirley for motivating me to finally play). In the audio settings I have everything cranked up excluding music since that overpowers a lot. But yeah, is this a known issue? There a mod to address it? It's pretty frustrating not being able to hear a lot.

  15. I’ma day late, Grandma but I’m excited about the new video! I seen there was a giant glitch that sends you in the sky have you ever heard or done it before? Only asking because I haven’t played Skyrim yet

  16. Good morning Grandma Shirley! I was watching this thinking back, and I can't remember you doing the College of Winterhold before, at least not that I've seen, so this is exciting! I finally completed it on my playthrough last year, I'm always drawn to magic in these games lol
