  1. I feel like they forgot to mention how customizable it is. Like will we be able to make out own Flag design? Can we change the colors on the coats, vest, boots, hats, and plumage? Can we add epaulettes, plumage and sashes? Ship decor like figure heads, helms, sails, pet pedestals, maybe have a dead DMC captain or other player hanging from the bow of your ship? How to get pets? What kind of pets are available? Can we name our Ship's? What's the character count on the ship's name? Can we change our name like in Cod War zone to fit the rest of our pirate aesthetic? Can we customize our weapons such as, knives, pistols, rifles, daggers, and cutlasses? How far can we customize our character's appearance? Can we customize our crew? Can we hire/customize a Quatermaster? Make like a Adewale, Queequeg, Mr. Gates, Mr. Gibbs, Long John Silver, or Mr. Smee. Will we be able to own our own compounds and or forts? How can we collect shantys? Will they make a Longest Johns shanty DLC? Will they add historical pirates? Like FranƧois L'olonnais, Henry Avery, Jack Rackham, Stede Bonnet, Ching Shih, Ed Thatch, Charles Vane? Can we gain Nick names like "Calico Jack", "The Gentleman Pirate", "The Pirate King/Queen/prince/princess", "Black Sam/bart", "The Sparrow"?

  2. Just use the Black flag map and game mechanics. Then make it all work with multiplayer. That's literally all you have to do and people will play this game all the time. You got to have the big open world and on foot exploration and combat.

  3. Okay so you don't actually dock up your ship he just loaded into it and magically appeared on it. So far it doesn't seem as immersive as sea of Thieves where it's real time loading up your ship by hand and not bringing up screens that magically do it for you. To top that off it seems like he can switch camera screens between his crew he's not actually walking around his deck and having to do it. I'm personally more into the Hands-On approach of having to do everything I don't like window screens that let you load your ship up I feel like it's a cheap way of cutting corners in developing a game in this day and age.

  4. ā€œForget everything you know about traditional pirate fantasyā€ how about Iā€™ll forget to buy this game as I hope millions of other profits wonā€™t show up on your books because players donā€™t want to forget real traditional ships, traditional melee combat, traditional jewelry and gold stolen from rich merchant ships and traditional 16 24 32 pound culverins and gunsā€¦ and not rocket launchers on a pirate šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø sailing boat!

  5. Geez, I don't know, between hating on the Epic Store and hating on Ubisoft, I really can't decide what's being more pathetic.
Seriously though, it's getting so utterly annoying to constantly have to read the same hive-mind nonsense on every single Ubisoft related piece of content.

  6. I sound so natural, this is natural, we sound like we are having a totally natural normal conversation, right? Yes! So totally natural and very normal. I agree, we are human beings talking as humans do. šŸ¤®

  7. This game honestly looks like it takes braincells away from you for every hour you play just by the sheer clutter of the UI… Like our Human brains aren't meant to register the amount of clutter thats presented on the screen during combat, it would just wear me out after one fight.

  8. For the ā€œultimate pirate gameā€ this is pathetic. If I wanted a world of warships type game, Iā€™d play world of warships. Everything you do that isnā€™t shooting things on a ship isnā€™t done by you. You see a cutscene and boom. Your done. I thought when you guys spent so long re developing the game, it was because you were listening to us, but I guess your bosses still havenā€™t gotten the fact that they need to listen to the community to make a game that the community will like.

  9. "Forget everything you know about the traditional pirate fantasy"….. like finding buried treasure or killing people with a pirate sword, and even a pirate base where you can store all of your pirate belongings.
Instead we have your crew doing all of that fun stuff and you get to sit on a pirate ship shooting towers and other ships! Oh boy! I can't wait.

  10. As an concept designer with humble experience in mobile games, I have some cretics. The wood spikes are goddy and distracting/make things feel less pirated and more fantasy. The same can be said for a lot of the unnecessary ship decorations like the decorations on the top of the mast…pirates don't "decorate" maybe instead of different little nicknacks you could use more practical customization like ship nets that hang off the mast or lights to see at night. Overall my biggest issue is the lack of Caribbean feel that you captured so well in Black Flag. Black Flag was so visually compelling you could literally remake it as it was EXACTLY and it would be smash hit. Please please make your water more blue…..AND maybe hire me? lol

  11. Ships maneuvre waaay to fast and sharp. Less arcade, more reality.
    Thanks…. how hard can it be….? šŸ˜’

And the sinking mechanics, speed also to fast. What's wrong with things taking time !? If i wanted a cheap, quick, arcade, unreal game i'd ask for it (Which will NEVER happen).

  12. gameplay is confusing AF, why would you make a magic spyglass?, you can see what is inside things? so pirates also had a magic spyglass back then, or did they just wing it and attacked something and HOPE they got good loot from it, there is no risk and reward system in this game as far as i can see, attack if loot looks good and dont if not lol
