  1. Okay for me in my opinion the game is really catching my interest I really like how it is. Always remember this gameplay is not final and always subject to change. They probably have player combat cause if they were really dawning the age of piracy they need to include that. Black sails almost every pirate always carried weapons so it would be a waste not include that let’s hope that Ubisoft does this because they were successful with Black Flag and should capitalize on what was on Black Flag especially since they are the same developers who helped made Black Flag as well. Also they did the mistake of making watch and listen to developers commentary of the gameplay which ruined the experience all together. I am sure they will have better presentations later in the year. Till then I am anticipating this game to see it’s progress throughout its development. They really have something here and they can include more they just need to do it.

  2. I wonder why Ubisoft can't innovate when they were kings and now resort to trying to upgrade already well established AAAs, at least they aren't taking on Among Us, SCPSL, Project Zomboid and other indie minihits so I guess massive respect to them…

  3. meh. this is just black flag without the third person action swashbuckling elements. should have just created an all new IP that furthered the AC approach. perhaps even a fantasy-based pirate AC-like game would have been better. or just pretty much a pirates or the Caribbean game of sorts LOLs. sorry but this game is going to sink 😞

  4. I have more questions than answers after this video, character creator or are you stuck as the guy in the video? Live service game, will it end up like anthem or marvel Avengers and if not, what's making it different? So if I don't want to pop will I be forced into it?

  5. Gotta love when you have a game listed on Steam to advertise and build publicity, only to remove it from Steam before the official gameplay reveal. I see you Ubisoft, good try.

  6. I have a lot of concerns with this game, I feel like the gameplay will feel generic and repetitive, and I'm thinking there won't be any fighting along with the boarding, it's just an animation that will play and you loot the ship, the rest is just naval combat. Not worth on launch imo. The infamy system seems interesting, because it does give you a reason to play, but if the gameplay isn't good enough, no interesting enough system can keep me playing. If they gave us a fully fledged Pirate GTA simulator then things might be different. But I don't think that's what's coming.

  7. So we still got only 1 good pirate game and its sill moded Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships – everything that came after was just cartoon joke And this had potential but what i see its not looking good for me i dont like this mobile game look and feel and forced multiplayer

  8. I watched the overview trailer and was hoping for co-op on the level of Sea of Thieves but once it got to the gameplay of the two guys playing it and they are on separate ships I checked out. It looks great and could possibly be a great game but I have trouble completing open-world games these days and I don't know how long just ship-to-ship combat will keep my interest. I do wish SoT had this kind of ship and character progression though. I'll probably just wait for it to inevitably hit Game Pass

  11. This game seemed good from the start but the amount of micro management just seems overwhelming. You are more someone calling the shots rather than making them.

  12. Yeah. I'm interested in being a person on a ship, not the ship itself… This seems to 'miss the boat' that Black Flag had done incredibly well. I don't want an animation for my crew to plunder… I want to plunder! This seems like it is missing things that Assassin's Creed did over a decade ago.
