Skiptown All-Stars Ep. 31 – Chicago: Where Even the Accountants Can Fight // Best of Chicago

From Evanston to the South Suburbs, nobody knows Chicago like Denise. Despite being in Los Angeles for 25 years, she’s still a Windy City O.G.

We talk about the best of Chicago, the music and entertainment scene, the people and, of course, The Chicago Bulls. We also dig deep into the food: Giordano’s vs. Lou Malnati’s, Aurelio’s and why “the Greeks” own the best restaurants—even if it’s not Greek food. Denise also breaks down the North Side vs. South Side attitude and culture and we even get into colleges like University of Chicago, DePaul, Northwestern and her alma mater, Loyola of Chicago. Enjoy!

  1. Rhode Island is a beautiful place to live. The smallest state nicknamed Lil Rhody. It’s 37 miles across at its widest, but has 384 miles of shoreline(including it’s 35 islands) We have beautiful beaches and historical mansions now owned by the Historical Society where you can tour them. There is a Dunkin Donuts on every block just about. Our former Mayor, now deceased, Buddy Cianci spent some time in Federal prison. We have the most population of Portuguese descent. The best seafood, fresh of the boats.
