This method involves cheats and Mods but it does seem to work if you are trying to use Greg for lets plays, content or if you are impatient like me.
I don’t think theres a proper way of getting rid of the Greg “anger” and the fact that he is practically unapproachable because he is an NPC and I am presuming he is coded that way. Nevertheless I found a way of making him as playable as possible and I wanted to share it cos it might help someone. If anyone has any feedback or advice or if you stumble upon this video and have a mod to make Greg act like a normal sim PLEASE let me know.

I was gonna try this but after one “attempt to communicate” he liked my sim😭 she was immediately his crush when I checked the sentiments, he never became mean and just randomly gave her a kiss I was so confused
I used mccc to make him a toddler and he disappeared, then I aged him up into a child and he was just a set of teeth 😂
Polite introduction also does wonders, if you have parenthood 💫
Greg was perfectly fine by himself your quote redo was a terrible version of people making their Sims look realistic with this really bad CC. His complete character completely changed once you changed him, he looks like some cringy dude that you just tick tock and not some mysterious old guy from like the 1600s
