Silicons campaign: 1- Overlap (Submarine Titans – English, PC)

Happy Easter to everyone! For those who have commented previously on the videos, I had to delete them due to having some video problems, sorry for the inconvenience, but rejoice, as now they are available up to 1440p quality!

We dust out this magnificent beauty of RTS game from year 2000 developed by Ellipse Studios, beginning with the Silicons campaign, which, as you guessed it, are made from silicon and are the alien race of the game. They want to return home after clashing on Earth due to a comet impact, but those pesky humans don’t seem to like having them around…

The objectives in this mission are simple: build a minimum of 2 Corium Collectors and 1 Corium Silo, destroy any BO sub and structure on the map and have stored a minimum of 6000 units of Corium.

We start with 3 Capsule – Prototypes to begin building our base, so first of all, we must build a Protoplasm Generator to unlock everything else (it is a compulsory requirement for the Silicons), a Silicon Extractor and a 3rd supply structure of your choice (I went with an Energy Accumulator in this case, pick your poison). After the Protoplasm Generator is built, we must begin producing more Capsule – Prototypes (for more structures) and Transports for getting that precious Corium and Silicon to set the foundations of our economy.
One important thing to notice is that the red BO AI will attack our base if: a) 10 in game minutes have elapsed or, b) we approach the Corium deposit the game shows us at the beginning of the mission, so we must produce enough military subs to destroy the west BO fleet. After that, we can begin moving our military to the east to destroy the remaining red BO AI fleet and collect more resources.
Finally, when our military fleet is big enough, we can launch our assault towards the green BO AI and end the mission successfully (if we have the 6k units of Corium collected that we we told to have).

I’ve recently purchased Submarine Titans from the GOG.com store as I already have a Spanish copy of the game on CD which seems to not properly install on W10.
