  1. I was on Sifnos island some 30 years ago. Stayed at Hersonnisos beach in a tiny apartment of Katherina who was also running the local food shop at some 10 sqms. At that time there was no electricity in Hersonnisos, they had one taverna operated by Nikos – Katherina's brother. Drinking water was only available when Nikos started the old diesel engine to pump up ground water. The pottery shop there was up and running then as well. In the wintertime nobody lived in Hersonnisos apart from one old fisherman. No internet, no cellulars, nothing. My most beautiful summer ever. Love Greece ever since.

  2. Hi Gabriel! Thanks for all the content. I’m a big fan. I’m also a fan of “A girl and her passport” channel. She is now in Sifnos too!
How about a meet up with her! That would be great!

  3. One quick question – do you always prefer outings during siesta time, since most people (Greeks anyway) are inside napping and you can vlog without interruption? It definitely gives the impression of a ghost town. Greeks come out in the evening. Love your channel btw!

  4. Hi,
My wife and I have enjoyed watching your vlogs for quite a long time. Thank you!
It just occurred to us that you are now at the same time on the same island showing the same beach as the other vlogger, "A Girl and Her Passport," who we also have enjoyed watching for quite a while. It looks like she likely had your car in her latest "Unbelievable Sifnos Island, Greece | Greece Travel" video @2:55. So I thought you might like to meet her as she is also a lovely person and a travel vlogger.
    Cheers, Lynn & Jesenko
P.S. We watch you through our oldest YouTube account that YouTube didn't allow us to leave a comment. Probably because we don't have a channel there.
    All the best.

  5. On the other side of the church of Agios Andreas is a lovely little museum and a parking lot. You can drive up 🙂 Sifnos was known as the island of gold – very rich and they had their own Treasury in Delphi to honour the God Apollo. It might not look like much but it is an important archaeological site.

  6. off topic: have you done a video on the luggage that you are carrying? I'm curious to know if you're doing carry on only, what size of backpack you're using, style (top load or traditional side load) and if you're doing the 2 piece (i.e. big backpack in the back and smaller pack hanging in the front – I think i've seen you do this).

  7. The most famous church in Sifnos is Chrisopigi, breathtaking view and nearby great little taverns. Gabriel i saw my btother's summer house as you were walking up to Castro village,we have so many great summer memories in Sifnos.
The first famous great Greek chef Tselementes was ftom Sifnos, they cook in ceramic sealed pots in stonemade ovens all night long. Exceptional quality food.

  8. Gabriel, you're a nut!😀Three times in a summer?
You know, now's a good time to learn some Greek! (by the way the marble bust was of a professor ,not a priest)
