  1. Zhuelke's main problem seems to be that, whenever he tried to be imaginative (like during the phase of the siege in which he ordered the night raids) he found himself to be rebuffed and therefore switched to more conventional tactics (which ended up working but at a cost, as seen during his "Big Push"). And when you have a military structure such as the Imperial one in which most missions are quite literally do or die (Imperial generals are often punished with execution when they fail) and a rigid and authoritarian officer corps which is more preoccupied with following orders than with achieving results you get situations such as this in which as soon as the situation deviates a little from what is expected the entire thing grounds to a halt.

  2. Having read through the series and watched Arch's videos, I already knew what was going to happen. But that cliffhanger with the Titans slowly lumbering towards the Death Korps lines, and the suicidal charge to TRY and slow them down was perfect! Excellent job, Janovich!

  3. hear me out, krieg was a poor choice for Siege warfare, mechanized warfare was literally the reason trench warfare did not last past ww1, because a static formation can be easily exploited with a mechanized and motorized force.
