  1. Happy new year dude!

I didnt think GW could do it, but they did…They pulled me right back in when I thought I was out.
Legions Imperialis is my kind of game through and through! Love painting and building these tiny warmachines XD

  2. Great video! I think I've vaguely heard of Hametsu before but I've never heard of the board game. Maladum was it? This year I want to try getting Dead by Lead to the table to scratch my Western itch, Horizon Wars: Midnight Dark for my 6mm Sci-Fi combined arms fixation, and Deep, Abandoned because it looks like a very interesting spin on a dungeon crawler.

  3. Onepagerules had some good experimental rules, too, but they scrubbed them from the website. The game jams they run have some really good stuff as well. Love the creativity they foster.

  4. I just purchased Test of Honour which I’ll be playing with my friends. Finished painting 3 samurai need 9 more for two small forces to play the introductory scenario.

Also great channel my guy thanks for keeping the content coming.

  5. Congrats on Battlespace getting on Modiphius! I was pumped for you when I saw that, along with Jordan Heckman's County Road Z, Ivan's updated Bug Hunt, and the new Rangers series from Joe. Y'all are going to put me in financial ruin. I hope the release schedule goes well – and here's to the indies!

  6. Happy Bew year and congratulations 😁 people also need to check out Forbidden Psalm it is an amazing skirmish game they have a dark souls like setting, a weird war 1 aetting m a cyberpunk setting and a Victorian times setting (all different books but damn dort chesp pdfs are like 10 bucks and some have big expansions. I am okaying the original using Bestiarium Miniatures (3d printed) they also release game missions for Forbidden Psalm every month as well as DnD stuff (the dnd stuff can be used in any system just adapt it) i will be using that for Mork Birg myself as Forbidden Psalm is also based on Mork Borg I will have the stats for enemies from that for both wuw

  7. I stopped buying and playing GW years ago. For wargames I have been using Dragon/Xenos Rampant and Space/Sword Weirdos. Lots of fun! I have also shifted to true 25mm and 1/72 scale for miniatures. Way less expensive! I also have gotten back into hex and counter wargaming too.

  8. New Years Eve I managed to make it to midnite, but crashed after that (despite the fireworks warzone in my neighborhood). On the 1st, though, I spent the day at our FLGS playing the first two games in our new Mordheim campaign. I'd forgotten how much fun that gamr was. No wonder GW dropped it.

  9. Great video. Have a look at Conquest The Last Argument of Kings from Para Bellum Games. This is my jam for the last 3 years now. There is 8th faction coming in March, even though it's rank&file mass battle system it plays really fast with alternative activation giving zero down time. It also has skirmish variant called First Blood and it's played by same models. Never looked back 🙂

  10. Hey great list! Thanks for the video. Have you tried Deadzone by Mantic. We just started playing. I like it more than Kill Team. More streamlined and a bit simpler, but more tactical depth. A lot more fun, imho. Plus, GW is sooooo expensive-$40 for custom dice lol!

  11. You REALLY need to play Infinity a few times. It's a game changer (pun intended). It's difficult for me to not compare every game's rules with Infinity, including RPG's, because of how innovative and realistic the gameplay is.
