Damn one hell of a showing from the US, really impressive to take the Germans out so decisively. Without the need for tons of Fires as well, just a straight slugging match for 90% of it.
But it just goes to show how strong the British are with their HE Spam, at this rate they're probably the strongest contender for the overall win.

Could have been a great battle. "AI" choose bad formation and giving broadside even when the ships are designed with great firing angles. I feel we missed most of the potential of German BCs. That's RNG for you (but we missed the I in AI).

For the next tournament, maybe you could add a more complex point system. 1 point per enemy ship sunk + 1 point per victory, for example. That way, a win would be 4 points; but a loss could be between 0 and 2 points, making things a bit more interesting imo in the standings.

You say 3 nil but realistically, the Super Alaska would probably be considered a complete loss and scuttled. Still, a win is a win.

I'd be interesated to see a breakdown of win/loss of purely AI controlled fleets versus Player/AI fleets, just to see if there's much of a difference, if any.
I say redo the fight but with both fleets in line formation but no points to winner
For the next tournament, how about running each matchup 3 times? Could even up a bit the RNG from stupid AI decisions…
Really nice battle, glad to see US pull a boost from this even though they probably shouldve lost had AI not did so much maneuvering. Whats the program youre using for the tournament? id like to use it for an upcoming tournament with some friends.
I think the RNG is slightly skewed in favor of whoever the "Red" team is. I'm willing to bet your predictions for this battle may turn out true if you reversed the sides.
