  1. This game has achieved what almost no game can. It created a combat system so good, i want every future hack and slay game to adapt it.
The visuals are very nice too.

    But thats it.
Everything else in this game is such a clusterfuck of tedium, convoluted systems, grind and game design that clashes with its philosophy of being a mmo at every corner, that i cant possibly understand the prestige it has earned from the community.
This game managed to encompass every carnal sin of videogame design to such a degree that i got the impression the developers were testing out how awful they can design a game around their amazing combat before everything crumbles to dust.

At this point i have around 100h of game time and i just cant continue. Every second im not doing combat im questioning my existence and even while in combat im constantly asking myself what the heck im progressing towards.

We have over 30years of MMO game design history to draw from and all we got is "this". What the hell happened?

  3. even if it is a free game, i simply cannot get myself to play this as ive seen other great f2p games with amazing mtx systems (Path of Exile). being dependant on luck or money to progress is unacceptable to me

  4. So I have played about 60 hours so far just on na servers and I cannot find a good class to play. They all feel super clunky . Also way too simple can anyone give me some advice about a high skill ceiling or mood fluid feeling class ?

  5. Thanks for the Information and insight into this game I can see why I might quit this game in the near future there aren't any Oceanic servers yet so I'm stuck on the west coast of the states. hopefully the lag won't be to bad.

  6. So, I just hit 50 and I can say without a doubt that the leveling in Lost Ark is just about if not the worst I've ever experienced in any MMO I can think of… or really most any game. Linear, mandatory, insultingly and frustratingly easy. I can't recommend the game to anyone who's not willing to slog through 20-40+ hours of intensely boring fetch quests while suffering horrible writing and constantly having your agency subverted at every turn. If that sounds like a stiff price to pay for a f2p KMMORPG with heavy cash shop elements that MIGHT turn out to be fun in the endgame, turn back now.

  8. Don't get why this game blew up, doesn't bring anything new to the table that other mmos havent already done , not to mention a serious graphics outdate for the current year we are in . Can someone fill me in?

  9. Great review, watched the whole thing. My only thought is yes, the game is F2P, but if the game had no monetisation, how would they make money and justify creating the game in the first place? It’s still a business and not many companies do things for free

  10. thanks for making this video. I ben playing lost ark for about 10 hours now and im all most to lvl 50. There are so many things to do it is overwhelming me but after watching this i understand what to do. They need a better learning Quest or videos in the game that techiest you how to use some of this stuff then readying text. I'm a hands-on kind of guy . but if i have to grind for mats and then fail all the time to get better upgrades for the gear then ill just stick and go back to world of warcraft.

  11. The games quest design is hot garbage. This has quest mechanics from 20 years ago. Go here talk to this guy. Now go kill 8 monsters. Go talk to the guy again. Now go tell this other guy you talked to previous guy. Rinse and repeat and that's the whole campaign. Sometimes you'll have to pick up a box and move it from one place to another so those are extra fun.
