I was planning on getting violet since i prefer the futuristic theme also ceruledge,miraidon and the other Pokemon that appear in it. I like the past theme of scarlet but I can't picture myself riding around on koraidon because I have a bad habit of criticising things that don't seem logical for example koraidon having wheels but not using them.

Hey Austin! I’m playing an online adventure with my friend (I’m violet and they are scarlet) and we are adventuring together. His version exclusives are popping up in the overworld for me and my exclusives are popping up for him. I don’t know if this is for all exclusives however I caught pupitar and he caught misdreavous becuase of this
So Tyrannitar and hydreigon are Scarlet exclusives, but the new versions are available in Violet. This is a scam!

I've always thought of it as pretty scammy how you have to buy two versions of the same game just to catch all the pokemon from both games. But people keep buying it so Game Freak has ran this scam for decades.

For some reason when my brother were partied together he was able to catch a Dreepy despite it being a violet exclusive and he was playing scarlet. And yes I was playing violet

Some are sorta..incorrect. I've found some of both, in each other. Such as gulpin/swellot, in violet
Dreepy and ceruledge are enough for me to want violet
out of all the bugs in scarlet and violet they managed to make sure the version exclusives stay that way

This is the first Pokemon game where I've purchased both versions. Not only so I can easily complete the dex by locally trading but MOSTLY because after my playthrough of Violet there were a lot of things I wish I would've done differently but didn't want to delete the save data to start over.

I am planning pokemon Scarlet and I was able to get Scarlet and I got Stunky in the wild on mine so you have that round the rong way. It needs to be swoped with Gulpin which is in Violet not Scarlet.
What changed I have violet and I have some scarlet pokemon?
Wait I have a question. Why is there a paradox misdreavus in scarlet version, even though it is a violet exculsive pokemon? I know paradox tyranitar and salmence are available in the other game then where the present form of those pokemon are available, but why not make misdreavus the scarlet exculsive instead of drifloon and drifblim.
