Should Death by Dangerous Cycling Carry a Life Sentence?



Cyclists who cause death or serious injury could face up to 14 years in prison if the government has agreed to change the law. Conservative MP Iain Duncan Smith, who has been campaigning for the change, says that cyclists should be made accountable for reckless behaviour.

  1. While the government are finally seeing what some cyclists are like HOW ABOUT requireing a VISABLE REGISTRATION PLATE and to have that bike resistered to an ADDRESS by law and then there is the point of ROAD INSURANCE all of these need to be looked at

  2. I once saw a cyclist run a red light at a pelican crossing and plough straight into a girl crossing the road, fortunately she was ok as it was clear from his approach he believed the lights were only there for the cars.

  3. What's the difference of a reckless Cyclists/Motorists? They're both reckless. Both have to be considerate plus Cyclists cycle on footpaths which are for padestrians.
