This two party system is a joke. There used to be a time when presidents were chosen based on the content of their character, not party ideology. Because presidents should be a leader for all parites. Both of these candidates fail the character test, in my opinion. Now, the voting system revolves around "People who the press successfully sold to" and "critical thinkers".
Here's a hot take: Not many like Trump. Not even his voters. But this isn't a popularity contest (even though it absolutely is being treated as one).
It's a competency contest at this point. The pickings are slim in 2024 I agree. But there is an obvious choice here.
Pick the guy who made better fiscal decisions in their four years as president. Then, we wait it out until the next cycle of morons pedaled out to us. Rinse repeat.
