On November 16th, Rebirth Island Resurgence will be removed permanently from Call of Duty Warzone 1. Activision has chosen (wisely, probably) to not split its playerbase and focus full ahead on Warzone 2’s launch and success. Resurgence will return in a few months, but rumors state that there will be a brand new resurgence map in 2023, so this is likely the end of Rebirth Island as we know it. It’s been real, Rebirth. 🫡

Be like Frozen my guy 🫡 I always knew resurgence was going to return but some called me crazy
Ofcourse resurgence is going to come back. It's one of their main money makers because people are coming to warzone to play it. Can't wait for it tho.
I need rebirth island back it was my only chance of winning a warzone victory
I really miss rebirth but I do believe that in a few years some sort of plutonium type custom client will be developed for warzone 1 and have rebirth fortunes keep and caldera and also maybe verdansk
Bro ofc it was a mistake you don’t know how many players would rather play rebirth than any other game mode. Rebirth is what made Warzone and is it’s most popular game mode. This is ridiculous.
