I film my videos mainly using natural lighting as artificial studio lighting greatly alters the look/ performance of products and acts very similary to a filter. Besides, I don’t live my life under studio lighting, so I need my makeup to look good in natural lighting mostly for my day to day life, which I why I prefer to test out products in the type of lighting I see my makeup in most.

  1. Hi Maaike I like a mix of old and new. We all want to use long term favourites sometimes and I wear a ton of very cool toned shades in the Winter. I'm so pale anyway, but I too am at my most pale in the Winter and even a hint of warmth looks odd on me at this time of year. I wear a lot of soft greys this time of year and some icier makeup tones – a sort of snow queen vibe lol. The taupes, bronzes and greens of Autumn are put away and the real Winter clothing is in place, so my makeup is in similar shades. Best wishes.
ps I'm curious how you found the LE foundation – it's on my wishlist, but I'm a bit unsure how it will be on my really dry skin,
