Shine on terracotta pots, flatten acrylics @TerracottaWhirl #terracottawhirl #shorts

This is Joe Nigro from TerracottaWhirl™️, sharing the mesmerizing art of whirling and shining terra-cotta pots. Earlier, I scuffed up this pot in my last short video, and now, I’ve elevated it to a masterpiece. Let me break it down for you:

I applied layered bands of orange, green, red, blue, and orange again, starting from the bottom and ascending upward. After letting the pot sit for about 15 minutes in an air-conditioned room, I grabbed a piece of wood—a simple tool from my early days of using mini pottery wheels. This tool, combined with the power of the TerracottaWhirl™, flattened the acrylics beautifully.

With the TerracottaWhirl™ spinning at up to 2,000 RPM, the edge of the wood smoothed and blended the acrylics into a shiny, lustrous finish. The result? A breathtaking piece of sensory art that’s as smooth as glass!

⚠️ Safety Warning: Always wear safety glasses and take precautions. This technique is for adults and professional crafters only.

To complete the process, I finished the pot with a Rust-Oleum clear coat, creating a durable and polished surface.

My Mantra:

“We’re all born terra-cotta, and we whirl with love.”
