EMP only works on those things that are actually on, not on off electronics.
Sorry too many problems to list.
Fun story! Remember, this is Not hard science fiction. It's science fantasy. The rules are looser but still require one's suspension of disbelief to enjoy it. 😊
Very good writing and quite entertaining . Good job
Her body mirrored by weeks of captivity? Great writing… NOT. Quit after 0:21. Won't be back.
Good tale. Apparently, no governments impeded the slavers operations, which seems a little odd. Governments exist to protect their citizens' rights against the unscrupulous. The strangest thing to me is the slavers didn't honor Liara's sale to Jace. Going back on a deal would do their reputation damage, as word spread they don't honor legitimate sales. Why would anyone waste money buying a slave, if they weren't allowed to keep their purchase?
This was poorly written and it showed in the story line and plot. There are jumps in the story. Why did the slavers decide to go after Jake and Liara? Especially after they were paid such a high price for a pure Toric? What did the slavers have against the Toric? Why did Jace get involved and why was he at the auction in the first place? Those are some big plot holes early on.
Next I really wish some of these authors would take the time to learn what the military does and how it does it, instead of repeating "skill ans precision" then making it look like every detail is taken care of in advance. It's far closer to poorly planned with bad logistics and relying on a psychic who stares into a crystal ball for intelligence, than it is like what these stories talk about. the staples of military actions are 1. The element of surprise. 2. Making the enemy think you are far away when you are near. 3. The Art of War By Sun Tzu. 4. what ever can go wrong will go wrong and have to be countered i the field on the spur of the moment. 5. The one who is seen first, or heard first, is dead first. 6. Where the ambush is you don't want to show up there, but it is easy to ambush and ambushes from a direction where they aren't looking. So misdirection is important.
No AI.
You're sharing ad revenue with the author and also are yourself the author? I don't think you thought that through. The dispassionate, monotonous AI voice you've chosen for this narration is a terrible fit for this action adventure. I tried to get into it but gave up ten minutes in.
