  1. 3:34 – That OP is a shit manager, it's not the worker's job to find people to cover shifts, you were informed they couldn't work that day, had the contacts and the roster, get off your lazy a and do your job. You throwing them under the bus because you were too lazy to arrange other staff and retaliating made them completely checked out. You caused that and as a result they lost all respect for you or the company.

  2. I had to fire a girl who from day one refused to do anything, once she was hired, she said that because she was disabled (she had acne) that she could get away with anything. It took 6 months to get approval of her termination. Her acne was part of puberty, not a chronic condition.

  3. Frankly, OP and Joseph were foolish to keep Brenda up to that point. I don't care if you're short-staffed. Someone who's been that horrid to customers in the past should've been canned way before it got to potential lawsuit territory.
