  1. Wew, that was… I thought it might've been the recap's fault but no. It really does bring up a lot of problems and then just handwave everything, usually as "eh, I'll fix it later". The most explicit "uh, wat" moment was the crew going to lunch with the murderers from the subjugation team, but there's also the whole body horror aspect of sharing her body with an entire colony of slimes in the form of a pregnant slime, the way even sapient non-human races just sorta fold at her word to some degree brings up questions of free will, the way the teacher thing comes and goes like rabbit flatulance, the fact they introduced like 3 large overarching villains but one gets a face and nothing else and the one they actually interact with remains entirely faceless.

Further, a lot of these "monsters" speak their common language, some are apparently derived from humans, and they all seem to understand their common language. Doesn't that gimp the whole racism thing pretty heavily? You can't keep a people mad at another people long enough to create a permanent state of cultural isolation like that while still sharing a language. I know this is something a lot of Isekai suffer with, but merely sharing a language can pretty easily erase borders as a practical necessity.
