Android 21 Lab Coat was one of the most broken characters in fighting game history.
Her kit was completely unbalanced – and from casual to the pro level, Lab Coat 21 was an unavoidable terror that forced everyone to play her in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
The one question on everyone’s mind was, why? Why would the devs release a character so obviously broken, and then go silent?
Were they trying to ruin their own game?

Vegeto is much more broken imo… Also GT Goku is strong for completely different reasons. He has 2 lows like most characters, that's not a problem. The problems are spirit bomb oki, high damage and meter build, advancing auto combo, 214L gives easy mix and also his beam assist…
I guess "gutted" for LC meant that she was only going to win 7/10 tournaments she's not banned in. Okay.

I feel like one more last balance patch, alongside the rollback, to iron out stuff a bit more would be the perfect final patch.

I don't play much Fighterz but this looks pretty much exactly like the bayonetta issue in Smash 4. And that issue wasn't fixed until ultimate came out.

Dude its so easy to spot why she is broken. Namco doesn't care to competitive and just make her super strong to sell has a last dlc. Everyone just need to buy her to still play normally.

I know the video isn't about this but the Rollback patch is only coming to PC and PS5. PS4 and Switch players are left out in the cold which feels pretty messed up in IMO. I've heard its a hardware limitation for Switch but PS4 feels like a bit of a slap in the face.

I stopped playing after LC got introduced. I'm not really good at fighting games, just casually learning some combos for my team. Decided i wanted to go online to see where i stand, ran into 21 over and over and over and the fun just stopped for me. My team wasn't viable against championship teams, let alone labbeast 21. Maybe i'll start playing again. I had no idea she got nerfed. Interesting devlopment though, since in the show this happens every saga lol. Someone more powerfull then the gang comes along and now they have to figure out how to beat the badguy.
