  1. This trilogy is a perfect example of how to properly do parody and satire. Coming from someone who isn't trying to just shit on a genre they don't like, but from people who do love the genre and are making it with respect for what inspired it, while still making jokes about certain elements of it.

  3. Adding to the list of cameos cementing this movie as a cultural touchstone, Shaun had a brief cameo in the early 2010s anime/manga classic Highschool of the dead. where he showed up in the both the original manga and the anime.

  4. Yvonne's line "You know, just surviving." was referenced in the 2019 Resident Evil 2 Remake by Claire when talking to Leon after the helecopter crash.
    The remake to the game that inspired the movie referenced the movie.
