Would like to see videos on the other two Cornetto Trilogy movies. I know people hate The World's End, but I think that movie is much better than its reputation.
I will defend zombeavers to the death as a fun movie
I loved this movie, thanks for covering it
One day we'll get a video that hasn't been long-awaited or suggested by the subscribe star bros.
But that day isn't today.
I feel the exact same way about Hot Fuzz.
USE THE CODE USE IT USE THE CODE
This trilogy is a perfect example of how to properly do parody and satire. Coming from someone who isn't trying to just shit on a genre they don't like, but from people who do love the genre and are making it with respect for what inspired it, while still making jokes about certain elements of it.
29:20 Possibility? I always saw that as the obvious fact.
I bet my 2 nickels this Pete guy did the Sommelier from John Wick 2
Funny you use this example at 3:25 they themselves have said this isn't a reference they just forgot they had already done the joke.
starwars fans are the most toxic fans
Instant like for any shaun of the dead content
ok but Blo Hole Blast is actually like the best drink flavor ever
It’s weird too hear you talk about this film this one hits home literally as you can see my house in a couple of the scenes plus the Winchester pub is nearby lol Absolute classic anyway new berserk chapter this month 👍
I like to think that Pete went to the pub because Shawn invited him as he was leaving.
I can't wait for the Hot Fuzz video, that movie is legit peak.
And when the world had a real but much more mild actual outbreak, people just behaved exactly as predicted… denial, reckless, selfish… and lots died.. not funny
I just watched Shaun of the dead last night and this shows up
I know it's late but I'm now watching the video today on my birthday instead of yesterday
Do you guys remember when Phineas and Ferb had a zombie episode with the characters from Shaun of the Dead
Fuck off Paul was a good movie lol
another good video.
A bit that I love is when discussing the plan. Shaun's apology to Philip goes from heartfelt to dismissive.
plan 1 " I'm so sorry Phillip!"
plan 2 "sorry Phillip."
plan 3 " sorry"
I know my comment will be lost but you should watch Cockneys VS Zombies. Honestly a funny film and feels like they took a ton of inspiration from Shawn of the Dead
Adding to the list of cameos cementing this movie as a cultural touchstone, Shaun had a brief cameo in the early 2010s anime/manga classic Highschool of the dead. where he showed up in the both the original manga and the anime.
This movie really hits different as an adult compared to when I was a teenager. I also just realized that the actor playing Pete is the "Kitchen gun" guy.
Ngl I kinda miss the era where zombies were a fun adventure style of apocalypse, nowadays it’s so melodramatic because everyone wants to be the next TWD or TLOU.
Davids death reminds me of the day of the dead "choke on em" death scene. Where that guy gets torn apart by the zombies in a similar manner.
Yvonne's line "You know, just surviving." was referenced in the 2019 Resident Evil 2 Remake by Claire when talking to Leon after the helecopter crash.
The remake to the game that inspired the movie referenced the movie.
This is my favorite movie ever made and I was just talking about it last week and I spoke this video into existence.
