  15. I had the opportunity recently to meet up with someone who had been housed in the jail where I work over 20 years ago. To see him where he is today is worth more to me than any accolade I could ever receive in my career. But what was amazing to me was that he thanked me and some other staff members for how we had treated him. That was humbling for someone you never thought you'd see again to remember how you treated him decades later.
