The greatest minds of the galaxy team up to face the new threat coming from the otherside of the Monolith. Together, with no restrictions of technology, resources, or morals, they form the shadowy organisation know only as “Ominous Labs”.

This is a “mad science” style Anomaly-focused playthrough where restrictions on technology, bionics, and gameplay are entirely removed with the aim of the playthrough being to test weird and wacky ways the new DLC can be used in ways that were never intended.

  3. pretty sure the clicking on colonist's portraits with abilities like convert or preach health was added with 1.5, so dw about the whole 8,000 hours bit on this one :^)

    That way your only warden spends most of the days walking back and forth and the slightest interruption
    will be enough to have them pass on."

  6. Hey i play with your mod pack and i have a problem where caravan have no trader and evrytime one spawn i have an error log

    edit : only the exotic good and combat trader are bugged

    edit 2 : it seems the bug have something to do with techprints

  7. 30:35 what gives you the idea work types are prioritized left-to-right? I highly doubt it is the case. And that's exactly the reason why you don't set all jobs you want them to do to priority 1. Keep it for bedrest, rescue and firefighting. Use 2 for their specialty jobs, 3 for general labor and 4 for fallback duties. Your current priorities setup seems very inefficient. Frankie's delivering to a building (constructing worktype) when you'd like her to bedrest because those are of equal priority to her, so she gets to choose at random

    Unsolicited tips: Containment strength depends on health of walls + door-health (which contributes a majority of it so security doors give a huge boost). Sadly that means replacing natural rock with walls instead of smoothing them gives you less containment strength. Because for some reason a wall is weaker than a slab of rock.
    (Also, keep a stock of hemogen around and use the blood transfusion operation, seriously it's a lifesaver AND a time saver as pawns don't have to spend time recovering from bloodloss and only requires hemogen. It's not just limited for sanguophages.)
    (Also also, give your mechinator [mech gestation processor]s, it massively reduces the time it takes to gestate mechanoids by 33% each up to ~~200%.~~ nvm, apparently it can go even higher depending on crafting skill.)
    (Also also also, check out "More Than Ashes V2". It's a neat mod. Very biological horror. 👌)

  9. I still, to this day, cannot stop laughing maniacally every time Sam is wondering why a colonist like Dr Frankie is hauling cloth or doing anything other than the first couple of tasks on the left. When 90% of everyone's tasks is priority 1.

I would love to see someone make a mod with the anomaly stuff but make a zombie apocalypse mod and you capture zombies and research different mutations and weapons or items to help combat or protect against. could use shamblers and have mutations of them. love your videos always have a good time watching.

  11. Pretty sure this is on an easy mode.. your base is way to big to get just 15 raiders. I have one person hardly any stuff other than mushrooms not even got high tech research and my raids are 9-11 people against 1 just me… lol and mine is two below the hardest
