  1. I must confess: I don't think I've ever used the giant rats. Throughout my ER playthroughs, I think I've only used a handful of spirit ashes (and I only used Mimic Tear in the DLC).

  2. You've inspired me to do a bad rats build with the giant rats, which I will plan meticulously, collect the items for, then fight one or two bosses and never touch again

  3. One-shots, 20-hit combos, everything is AOE attacks. Thanks FromSoftware. I'm sure it's fun, but I prefer difficulty that comes from tight design rather than spaz attacks.

  5. I haven’t really played any souls games, so it’s always a wild ride watching people go through some of these bosses. Usually, I can at least tell in what ways you could potentially dodge something (as best just a spectator can), but on bosses like Bayle the Dread — what the hell? How are you supposed to avoid damage? That’s insane.

    I love how the world and enemy design looks, but I don’t think I have it in me at this point in my life to spend hours constantly dying on one boss. I wish I did though.
