Similar to another build where you use the antspur rapier with poison mist and then an estoc with cold affinity/blood ash or vice versa, you can do 4 status effects simultaneously. Very tough to get all 4 to trigger in a fight but for some bosses it’s very cool.
For farming Divine Bird, getting into Enir-Ilim may lock people out of some NPC quests. For this, the best farming spot would be using the Site of Grace outside of Romina's arena, mount Torrent, head towards th cliff nearby, jdouble ump towards the Gazebo roof, drop down, and kill the Divine Bird nearby. Be sure to drop FROM THE GAZEBO ROOF and not directly from the cliff because that's already too high and will kill you.
This build is very fun! I combined it with my thorn sorcery build to get the damage procs from the rot, poison, and bleed, then let 'er rip with impenetrable thorns. Killed the Lion Dancer in less than a minute on my first try in NG+. Loads of fun 😁 thanks man!
I've been using a similar build and love it. I put the ash on Milady, the heavy attacks hit twice so it applies poison reasonably quickly with a lot more range (and style).
I have a secondary weapon with bleed to finish off bosses while rot and poison tick away – enemies gain resistance to statuses every time one is activated so saving bleed until the end means I can burst bosses down a bit faster when it counts.
I kinda suck at the game and so made my build a lot more defensive with a shield and different talismans. For me it feels just right; not so overpowered that fights become boring, not so weak that I get frustrated with the game, and detonating poison is just so satisfying.
I have a bleed character but dont really fancy the status playstyles compared to unga bunga, but as soon as I picked up this ash I knew someone was going to make a broken build with it haha
Yeah tbh this works jsut as well just poison, or on a single poison antspur. 2 hits or so of poison plus helps get the rot buildup quicker. The deadly poison with the rot is actually pretty effective on bosses.
60 Arcane goes too far for this purpose as Arcane drops-off past 45 for weapon statuses (per wiki). You could drop those 15 points into Dex (more direct damage – even more on Poison Claws – B scaling, faster casting…) and if you drop Vigor to 50 you can pump Dex to 45 base. Since the build plays single source physical damage, this change also goes well against flat enemy defenses.
I'd also diversify the damage a bit more – like Millicent's Prosthesis instead of Shattered Stone (unless you play Dane's Footwork). It's impossible to proc poison on many enemies so you might be more versatile not entirely depending on the proc and pumping more into R1 autos while still maintaining very serious damage on the skill. Whether it does 5k or 6.5k damage is IMO not such a big difference in real gameplay compared to the losses this build suffers everywhere else to pump the damage as high as possible.
I've been running a build thats almost exactly like this since day 1 but I have a crippling addiction to the Dryleaf Arts, you get the full 1h attack chain even on L1 and Poisoned Hand in the main hand means your "default" L2 is a move that will basically poison any enemy in one or two hits, then a quick swap to 2h the Arts (who's running and jumping R2's work wonderfully with this setup) and things just melt.
You can certainly still set Dryleaf Arts to bleed, but Occult deals more base damage and frees up a talisman slot for Claw Talisman/Millicent's/etc.
You could also use bloodhounds claws! It’s not as much bleed buildup per hit, but it hits so fast that I don’t find much of a difference. I also just prefer the claw moveset.
I've respecced to this build and it is super fun when you get the fat procs but it can be pretty frustrating on some of the bosses/mobs hitting them with the claws lol. I find myself spamming L2 more for those guys.
Was thinking of doing something similar. Milady with poison flower but with bleed, dagger with poison mist as secondary main hand to poison. Poison hand on off hand.

Your how to play section is you just running around homie.
you forgot the food buff sacred flesh, that increases physical damage and arcane and when bleeding occurs it doubles those values.
Ok now this is awesome thank you for making this it help me finish dlc

Youwy credit

I mean double Godskin Stichers with bleed will do the same shit
This looks like Yowys build, it's a really fun build!
Yeah I tried craftin one of these, and the AOW sucks…I could not hit it on anything…

You and Youwy don’t sleep
Thats really cool. I try is nice damaged. Thanjks 🙂
Messmer : what status effect is that
Tarnished: Yes
HOLY CRAP ITS A RIDER KICK!!!!! YESSSSSS!!!!!! I can finally become a kamen rider in eldenring
I love the damage now i shall do the damage as the creators intended

So when you used the Dryleaf and the spear with this setup were you using blood or poison affinity?
It won’t let me change the poison flower to blood.. my only option is poison
The best DLC build in my opinion
I am inclined to believe that’s actually how you pronounce melee on account of the posh accent, however, I am still mildly suspicious🤔
great build dude! Going to test it out
Is that poison hand in the off hand working as intended? Or will that get patched out?
I’m already using the snake hands, I will try and get some of that other gear to make this work
I'm using a similar build but with poison infused pata, the range is incredible
Does scarlet rot trigger the poison hands effect too?
Tried this on Messmer four times and it fails miserably. Two thumbs way down. Highly unrecommend.
Yourwy made this exact build a day before you, it makes me mad that nobody noticed that but I’m just pointing it out
All these people are gonna stop playing the game when all this broken shit gets patched and ill be happy when the notmies are gone.
Perfect rider kick for my kamen rider build😂
Would this work with the new beast claws set to poison even better?
poggers
I wish they added rot as an affinity
Triple damage?
Yeah tbh this works jsut as well just poison, or on a single poison antspur. 2 hits or so of poison plus helps get the rot buildup quicker. The deadly poison with the rot is actually pretty effective on bosses.
Been waiting for a build around this AoW
AntSpur work with this?
Can call the build the Divine Mushroom

Yes someone did it I saw the potential lol xD
please add spoiler alerts for the boss fights, thank you.
So it's confirmed that the crown, talisman AND poison hand stack? Cause the buff icon from the fists is the same as the talisman.
You could also use bloodhounds claws! It’s not as much bleed buildup per hit, but it hits so fast that I don’t find much of a difference. I also just prefer the claw moveset.

Been on Reddit theory building this build since release. Glad to see it get a spot light
Antspur rapier works fantastic for this as well
