In one of the interviews about Elden Ring Miyazaki seemed honestly surprised that Elden Ring was popular. They may have literally started the dlc after the game released.

Well, I have nothing to do on the internet, so I'm gonna vent about my biggest frustration with this game.
Dexterity doesn't improve your poise on Torrent like it should, Torrent has 0 poise and 10 defence/damage negation, getting knocked off of him results in you being incapacitated for five years on the ground, and the final boss was designed for Torrent, but you can't summon him there.
So close yet so far, just like Ponytoddler of Tsushima.
Fromsoft is made of just more developers who're closed-minded pig-heads with a moronic phobia of mounted combat, who don't recognize how strong mounted warriors are.
Because in a game where I can exterminate the so-called hardest area that is the Haligtree in one go with a geth-headed glass plesiosaur's p!ss wave and space magic rocks of space Eldritch uglies, overpowered mounted combat is where we draw the line, eh?

Unless they will prove me wrong in the future, with patches and Shadow of the Erdtree. I'd truly like that!

Wouldn't it be amazing if this expansion was like the days of old expansions that felt almost like an entirely new game? My fingers are crossed. Hope we get some actual sauce soon.
It could be in the past since we need to use miqulaâs needle (I thing I spelt that wrong) is used in the past so he must have had something to do with time travel. This also wouldnât have an effect on the main game ether since we kill plasedusax, the dragonlord of the time, and it had no effect on the rest of the game at all. It canât possibly take place after the main story, age of stars and frenzied flame endings make this impossible to make sense. So the only options here are time travel or alternate reality ether way I want to fight a full power radahn or maybe even interact with some of the Demi-gods without someone dying could be cool, making friends with someone we know will end up dead or insane in the future seems right up fromsoftâs alley. Even if this isnât in this dlc it could be in future ones, if Skyrim has stayed alive for over 10 years with only two major dlc thin elden ring could be kept alive for a long time since there is so much dlc potential
I would laugh if in order to access the dlc, you had to defeat Mohge first. I could see a lot of people complaining about it.

Itâs so sad how this game is everyoneâs âfirstâ souls game experience, it takes away so much Magic from the original souls games and itâs depressing how we let such simple gamers come into this community. We were people of class now all we have is Fast Travel with a map Noobs. I hope they dont release a DLC this game needs to go.

Honestly Iâm starting to lose hope for the dlc, and think shadow of the red tree is straight up a sequel.
