The longest time for a platinum for me was dead space 2. Got the first trophy in 2011 and got the plat in 2022 so 11 years haha
I played this game a while back but stopped after a lil bit I did love the Batman combat it adopted. you think it’s worth going back to? 🤔
Talion is an excellent protagonist
The Nemesis System was innovative and amazing Shadow of Mordor cane out in 2014 so the game is nearly a decade old
I kid you not I literally just finished this platinum as well 😂😂 and while I agree that SoW is a better game, I do think the atmosphere of this game is better, and the orcs look a lot better. Might just be nostalgia though as this is one of the first games I played as a kid

My god of war II platinum took 12 years 4 months lol I just needed all the collectibles so I streamed it via ps premium since it’s a ps3 exclusive
its a prequel so you're allowed to compare it to the other game. the sequel is better because the first one was worse. this idea of not comparing things to something else is stupid
You should try to platinum WWII game
I feel like leaving side stuff for after the main missions is so tedious, i always try do do stuff as I come across them

Great vid! Maybe throw a compressor on your voice audio though, when you shout in anger/excitement it peaks like crazy and hurts my ears.
I feel like sea of thieves might have the longest time for achievements.
The reason the nemesis style system is not used really by other studios is because its patented by Warner bros so other studios aren't allowed legally to use the system or systems too similar.

Not a platinum but 1000G on Xbox… Dead space 1, Started on 12 April 09, I was too scared to play and finish it back then 😀 But I went back and got 100% on 6th Jan 23.

my Ratchet and Clank: A crack in time platinum took me over 13 years to get 😀
Did it myself a few months ago but with DLCs included, an enjoyable one, rather easy too
shadow of mordor isnt dated at all, you're either bad or have a high difficulty if u found branding the warchiefs a 'nightmare'
Lego Indiana Jones 2 is my longest platinum at 10 years and 10 months. I wasn't into trophies when I first played it but went back and completed it after getting the trophy bug.
I’m playing this right now and the cloth physics is crazy. You compare that with modern games and the weapons are going through the armor. It’s almost like there’s a step back with some physics stuff.
