i love how Emerl just copy shadow's fighting skills as he fight, Shadow uses its spindash on emerl and 1 second later, emerl perform a spindash.
You could say that emerl is either a fast learner, or a cheater

I’m interested to see if Sonic movie 3 will be as dark as these shorts I expect it won’t maybe…but then again based on the trailer they definitely are leaning towards the darker tone but I don’t know if it will get as dark as the Gerald scene in this

Fun fact, the chaos emerald he’s holding is the yellow one. It’s the same one that you get sonic generations once you beat him in a rival battle.
Also, something that I noticed when shadow is falling into the black abyss and you start seeing the red seep through the clouds it looks like the black arms symbol. 4:54
This was absolutely PEAK the freaking sibling moment between shadow and Maria touched my heart 🥹🖤🩵that had to be black doom messing with shadows head and Kirk HE LOCKED THE FUCK IN
Interesting fact, they do seem to be connecting speed with electricity here, just like with Sonic nowadays.
I am actually still in shock, I just can’t believe how good this is, the choreography,shadows and emerls footwork is amazing
Something interesting to note is that the Chaos Emerald Shadow has in the present is the same color as the one he gives Sonic for beating him in his rival boss fight in Generations.

The last Generations trailer finally caught me. I love Shadow lore, and it looks more story-heavy than a lot of recent Sonic games.
