SHADOW AND BONE Season 3 Everything We Know

I review, breakdown and explain the latest news on Shadow And Bone Season 3 Netflix. Following on from Season 2, I give my theories and predictions for the story which could be focussed on Alina and Nikolai with the darkness in them as they are ruling Ravka. I also react to the story focussed on The Crows, Mal and Jesper, Inej, Genya and Zoya. I discuss the release date and cast.

  1. I know Nikolai is goodlooking, but still Mal is handsome as well, team Malina forever! They are endgame tho if the producer changes the series plot for the endgame I would cry,

  3. I really hated second season I’ll re watch and see if I change my mind. I do believe it’s because I’ve read the book I do like the shift and change but if Alina doesn’t become evil and the darkling becomes good and saves Alina and they are end game I don’t want it. Lol 😂

  5. The way they mold Alina’s powers being polluted by darkness but draw that idea from the books when she was able to draw upon Aleksander’s powers (as told by David in the books they shared more than dreams etc but could draw on each others powers). They can even use the fact her powers are going dark to change her colour to how it is in the books.

I am very disappointed she bought Mal back to life. It’s as if Baghra knew the price she would pay because her father did it to her sister and that’s why she warned her and told her to promise she’ll not, I also think that’s why Mal does not feel their true star connection because if you recall Mal was in his version of paradise in the meadow fields where they use to go when they was younger but as Alina brings him back to life his pulled from there and their connection is lost; so I think the price of her using merzost is more than her powers being polluted but effects on Mal (which can lead to her having to kill him again to reset balance) but I guess we will see in season 3.

I also think that Nikolai’s nishevo’ya wound is a source of darkness that Alina may also be pulling from too which evidently shows they are more connected in their paths/stories than ever as the only person Alina has risked killing anyone for is Mal; so the way she came to Nikolai’s defence like that has more to the story. Aleksander is definitely still alive and Baghra might possibly be too, I did also read that the darkling might have possess inside Alina and came to her defence with the Cut just like how his nishevo’ya use to come to defend him but I guess time will tell.

Nikolai’s dawning Aleksander’s colours at his coronation was a good twist, from wearing green (the royal family’s colour), brown, white and even blues showcases that his innocence is gone and the adventurous, playful kind side is being slowly slipping away by the wound made by the nishevo’ya which plays into his season 3 storyline (that correlates with the King of Scars book) of him having mental effects and changes instead of physical ones as his tone and energy when talking to the papparat seemed more sinister and conniving especially regarding the day he choice to do his coronation.

The bee landing on Zoya definitely confirms her story plot and how she meets the saints, I hope they use this to also introduce Ulla (Aleksander’s half sea creature sister) because her story is very interesting even though it’s short. Regarding Genya I really hope she gets her happy ending, she’s been through a lot and deserve that, if you watch tv series the saying goes if there’s no body then the person could possibly be alive so that is the case for David.

I love how they intertwined the Six of crows with the main plots in the show and did it once again with the drug, with Nina and Matthias I hope they tie that end of their story up next season but change his fate because that would just have been a waste of a character. Lastly, I think they was setting up a romance for Inej and Tolya if you notice when she gets on the flying ship they have a moment especially as they hold hands when he helps her board (which mirrors the difference between her and Kaz), I hope they do explore that because I feel they get each other more and have more similarities than we think

  6. Meanwhile Im just here hoping Zoya/Nikolai and David/Genya fans get the justice they deserve in the next season. (esp since David is DEFINITELY ALIVE)

  7. Man alina first seduced Mal, then kirigan and after that Nikolai. Now nikolai turns into shadow demon. I think Alina will seduce that eyepatch girl next. Really liked Kirigan, whatever he said was true and whatever his mother said was also true. In the end Alina will be a Stupid Girl just like Bregha said.

  8. BOOK SPOILERS The bee at the end wasn't about Zoia, it was a nod to the book readers that we're going to get a "King of Scars" storyline about Saint Elizaveta stealing Darkling's body to resurrect him later

  9. the acting & the power of darkling (ben barnes) are too good to be replaced by a mere mediocre of mal’s role. honestly he doesn’t really carry the show, if at all.
next season will be the resurrection of darkling & unite his power with alina. as for mal, guess he’d finally find out he’s a morozova blood line and will help both darkling & alina. i hope darklina is the endgame. the idea of light & darkness unite & protect ravka (especially grisha) is too good to be wasted on undeveloped character, finite & mortal human like mal.

  10. Next season will probably be about Six of crows and King of scars. So the crows doing the heist and kidnaping the creator of the drug, meanwhile Nikolai and Zoya trying to lead Ravka while dealing with Nikolai's little problem, and the saints. Alina will probably reunite with Mal in Shu, and they will have a new storyline to fit the narrative of the books but they will no longer be the center of the show since their story already ended, now the Crows and Zoyalai are the main characters.

  11. Honestly, can’t believe it ended up with the cliche trope of light needs darkness and someone need to bear darkness nonsense. And the way she is smiling like it wasn’t weird
