  1. The part where you suffered hits at 14:22 is due to harsh weather.

In the event pop-up on the previous turn it said something about your units randomly suffering losses during the May turns, looks like it goes through a dice roll for each vulnerable unit to work out if they suffer a hit.

  2. I love SGS/Avalon games (Heia! Safari is my favorite) and I have owned this for a month or so without really getting into it. So, thanks for the video. Now I know how I'm spending the evening!

  3. Are there any state volunteer units? I've only seen US infantry and cavalry units so far on Steam and here. Specifically is Kearny and Doniphan's Army of the West made up of Missouri mounted volunteers who took Santa Fe and then won the battles of Brazito and Sacramento in Chihuahua in the game, or can they be raised? Thanks for the video

  4. Thanks for the video! It is one of the better ones on this game.

I've really taken a big interest in the US War with Mexico over the past few years, buying books, games and even painting up both sides in 15mm miniatures.

I do own and play the WDS Mexican-American War of all the battles of both Taylor's and Scott's campaigns!

I have tried several times to play this one, but can't quite seem to get a comfortable handle on the UI and the flow of the game. I am an old hex and counter wargamer, so this system is quite a bit different than anything I've ever done. I'll keep trying and get it eventually.

    The interest is definitely there!

Would greatly appreciate another video of this by you! Thanks again!
