Sexton got lucky to Not hurt himself, or his bike, on what could have been a very bad wreck. Then he was lucky to podium finish. Not a perfect day- but not a bad day either.
it would be nice to get splits of that tough section before the finish to see what was actually faster between the 3-4 options. Webb's looked the fastest
Sexton is clearly on the very edge of what a human can do on a sx track. It's hard to stay that fast for a full 20 min and not lose focus or bike control for a split second and that's all it takes to hit the ground.
Everyone needs to calm down about Weeb. Oakland was a lucky gift for all you Weeb fans. He's not fast. Take away Sextons crash and Tomacs mistake. He might have had a solid 3rd. Weeb cannot run the Tomac and Sexton pace.
