Severe weather outbreak tuesday and polar vortex to effect US

A significant outbreak of severe weather will effect easternmost Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Western Mississippi and Tennessee with destructive straight line winds, large damaging hail and a few storms will be capable of producing large, violent and potentially long tracked tornadoes.

Looking ahead, the models have been hinting on a major pattern change for December that could bring about major arctic outbreaks and snowstorms for much of the Eastern 2/3 of the country, especially the Mid-Atlnatic and Northeast which could get walloped come around christmas time with Noreasters and cold blasts.
