  1. FUN FACT : Mel Blanc came up with the Woody Woodpecker voice while in high school in Portland, Oregon. He would do the "woodpecker laugh" so much – in the quiet halls of Lincoln High School – that school administrators gave him a written warning threatening suspension.

  2. Bill! I, too, was an animation snob, but, I didn't know it. Born in 1955, in south Mississippi, I was only interested in animation that was about people: Flintstones, Jetsons, Popeye, I am all about a dirty joke and shocking humor AND Seth. Looking forward to watching more Seth McFarlane and Ted.

  3. Re: the vaccine argument, I'm with Bill on this one. I think Seth completely misses the point that Bill was making which is that the anger and resentment for the vaccine was that it was being forced on people. People lost their jobs or got sick.

  4. Seth MacFarlane is the only one who properly challenged Bill on Covid. Even Richard Dawkins didn't say much except "science is beautiful" and "isn't it great how quickly the vaccine has been developed" while Seth knew about the Koch-Brothers financing the Barrington Declaration.

  5. It's disappointing to see someone with Seth's intellect and wit just be in absolute denial over the abysmal failure of the CDC, Fauci, Vaxes and the naked recklessnes of Big Pharma. I mean c'mon Seth, you could write about 20 family guy episodes just on the utter lunacy of those 4 things alone…

  6. Seth's TDS is off the charts. Also his completely naive faith in Big Pharma is distressing to say the least. I am very glad he is still able to produce funny movies and TV shows but boy oh boy I don't want him making policy decisions that impact my life. He is so far gone to the left he makes Hillary Clinton look like a conservative.

  7. this perfectly shows how the left doesn't understand the right at all. but the right understands the left completely. and to prove this, the left thinks trump is literally hitler and yet for some reason they cannot explain why half the country still supports him and why he is gaining popularity. the left are clueless. they have no idea. they don't even care to understand. that's why the left do not understand the right at all. and all they have to explain trump and other republicans popularity like MTG and matt gaetz is….. the voters must be dumb. they must be manipulated. etc. and in the rare event of a lefty questioning a righty about why they vote the way they do, they have an emotional outburst because they cannot handle the answer. bill maher cannot be unemotional when he talks about trump or a popular republican, he's literally a woman on her period when he talks about trump and popular republicans.

  8. Read the Wikipedia entry for the Great Barrington Declaration. It was LOADED with FAKE “scientific” signatories, like “Dr. Banana Rama” and “Mee Soo Hornay.”
I love it when Bill props up something so easily debunked and calls it “an authoritative, exhaustive study.”

  9. The problem here with the conversation on the vaccine and covid is lack of understanding on both sides about what the disease mechanism is and how the virus and vaccine work. The virus modifies itself rapidly, changing the parts of it that are most readily recognised by the immune system. This was also why the vaccine was never going to be a sterilising vaccine, like the flu or the common cold both similar viral problems. Add to that fact the method they used in the vaccines (the spike protein only) using the part that is the most rapidly changing part of the virus, meaning vaccine escape was even more likley and going to happen much more rapidly than a whole virus type vaccine. Perfect for new strain vaccine sales, a conspiracy theorist may say…. and it didn't take them long to try that one on did it? Bill is on point about the individual's needs or not for the vaccine which suprised me that Seth doesn't get that message. It's very obviously the case that most healthy people under 60 simply did not need it. And to be fair all of this was obvious back in March 2020….. See Africa for an example of what happens when you dont vax anyone…. most folks there are dead before 60, result, almost no noticable problem from COVID continent wide.

  10. Seth's COVID takes are WAY off. It shows how he doesn't want anyone to be held accountable. He says that people wont die or be hospitalized for COVID but that's not what they said. We were specifically told that the vaccine STOPS the spread and you WILL NOT get COVID if you get the vaccine which was their reasoning for mandating it and even taking away peoples careers. Something a lot of his political ilk still have not apologized for their lies. Was that reposonsible and admirable on how they handled it? They were completely irresponsible with their handling of the vaccine, lockdowns, and mandates. That misinformation WAS NOT TRUMP. Typical left. Blame Trump for absolutely everything and ignore anything their own representatives and officials did poorly or even illegally. He has become so "morally superior" it even hurts Family Guy which no longer punches both ways.
