Sophie Willan repeatedly shouts the name of a body part in Alex Horne’s flustered face and John Robins demonstrates the power of his forearms.

In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Greg's intro about how doing this will ruin your marriages is prescient about Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont ☹️
The orange juice task reminded me of the juicer commercial in the Simpsons 😂
that fish task is really bad, why should anyone on the taskmaster assume that if they're wearing waders etc, they "caught a fish". Then they somehow should know that this time the sound recordist was putting something on their back, if Alex is hugging you for no reason, then you should know that it's not what he meant, yes.
This was one of the best episodes of the show I've seen in a bit! Great job everyone!!!!
I genuinely reserve time to watch this show in one sitting because it brings me so much joy I want to feast on it 😂 cant get enough!
Also, why I'm I mildly attracted to Alex? 😂😂
Strictly speaking… only John (and maybe Steve) should have gotten points for
the orange juicing task. The rules were that only the chosen items may touch the oranges. Sophie, Nick, and Joanne all put their oranges in the vase. Steve touched the orange with his top, though it could perhaps be argued that it was the armpit of the top (despite it not being a body part).
Pretty sure it’s impossible but I wish Nick would win the whole series
That orange juice task – I so wanted someone to go and look in the fridge for orange juice, it was "get the most juice into the vase", no restrictions on leaving the lab or touching OJ cartons. Also does it look like something is stuck to the bottom of the table?
May be a different country thing but I don’t consider that a spatula.. I’d call what they had a scraper and a spatula would be flat & sturdy enough to flip a pancake
Nick finally winning an episode made me feel like the proudest of moms – MY SWEET BOY 😭
The worst and boring cast so far. Hoping the next season will be better with real funny comedians. Stopped watching after 3rd episode
I think Ed Gamble is laughing merrily as a part of this studio audience.
I was so worried Sophie was going to shatter a glass during her percussion piece
This was one of my favourite live tasks!
Pretty sure the sound crew member in the first task is Mr. Bates from Downton Abbey 🧐
Okay, my first thought on the classical music task – if you aren't performing the william tell overture, you're making it too hard on yourself. 2nd thought – twinkle twinkle little star is classical music. 3rd thought. I once watched a video where they threw sodium in water to the 1812 overture. Everyone will get that one if you include the cannon, right.
Aww, they didn't get to pick?
They did pick. I guess panic picked.
Final Thought: NIck needs an Emmy
I was watching a relatively new show on Disney+ last night when…Wham!…I realized I was watching Nick Mohammed!
Yes – he is a somewhat major character in "Renegade Nell". So – there you go, Nick fans!
I think some of the past contestants would have just gone "eff it!" and tried to see how much chaos they could cause by grabbing a few handfuls of string and taking off at a run. Possibly in circles around Alex…
Got hammered on friday, watched it, presumably enjoyed it and now I can watch it all over again because I don't remember a single thing!
It must be the least close series ever, still fun though.
wait, is that just a joke or did someones marrige really break down due to the show?
I am just not connecting with this cast. They give me real Series 6 vibes.
40:57 Is that ed gambles laugh once again while they’re doing the on stage task?
YAY NICK!!!!!! 🧛♂
That bukakke ball at the end is something else
Yay Nick!!!
With 3 episodes left, I hope Sophie win.
They condone many things to Joanne but not to Steve, she was not supposed to make any noise in the classical music task
Love this show
So, uhhh, didn't Joanne step on the orange there? Isn't that touching the orange with something other than the items she listed?
so happy for nick!!!
Alex and Greg didn't have a banter section before the Prize Task! It threw me off
5:28 – Lightning Whelk is clearly superior to A Knobbed Whelk
Currently watching Ted Lasso and recognizing Nick
Thanks for the subs!
katherine parkinson: "am i the fish??"
Does anyone else watch these and think "Being a PA on this show has got to be a ton of work."
these people are unhinged! i love them!!
that's some big string
It was a hollow victory
16:44 “Hey, just thought you should know, there’s a strange person…
AGGHH”
This group just gives and gives
